Muslim Pope calls for Jihad

I think this is not supposed to happen: In my current game I was surprised to read a notification that the Pope called for a Jihad against Jaffa.
Then I found out that the Pope, who is living in Rome, is currently a muslim (sunni) from northern Africa! :huh: Rome was conquered by the muslims a while ago, but they have been pushed back already. The muslim Pope doesn't seem to care ...

I have a savegame of the situation in case it is needed.
