Hey all

I'm playing as the count of Yazd and managed to conquer my fellow vassals of my liege using the County Conquest CB as a muslim from the Emir of Fars. I have now become independent of him and gained the Emir of Kermin and became the vassal of the Caliph which I prefer.

But now I really want to get the Emir of Esfahan as my primary title but it seems I have lost the county conquest CB on the liege of count of Esfahan and count of Ahvas. Whenever I go to declare war on the liege of those counts I have no county conquest CB. But, if I look at the Emirs to my south, east and north of me I have county conquest cb on then.

I had a look at the cb info in the files and I couldn't make heads nor tails of it.

I don't really understand this, can anyone that understands this let me know please?

Thanks.

Hey

Anyone got any ideas on this? Why do I have Muslim county conquest CB on some Muslims but not them all? Also they all border me.

Don't think you're getting much of a response since Muslims aren't exactly the most popular religion in the game to play as. I just checked the Wiki, and the only caveats it mentions are:
-Must have a border.
-Must have the 50 piety for the option to show up
-Must not be your liege

Other than that I have no idea. Perhaps the game is confused and bugged out because if I understand you correctly, the guy you want to attack is your former liege?

Hey

Thanks for the reply. Sorry if I write this up confusingly. My liege became independent from the Caliph. I revolted against my liege and then swore fealty to The Caliph becoming the Emir of Kermin so now I'm a duke. I have two provinces in the 4 county duchy of Esfahan. No one has the the Emir of Esfahan title so once I have three I can create it. When I look at the count of Esfahan and go to his liege which is the Emir of Tabarsten (sp?) I have no Muslim county CB on him. That county is bordering me. If I look at the other county in the Esfahan duchy and go to his liege I'm also unable use the Muslim county CB on him. But if I look at a Emir to the east of me I can use it no bother. I have over 400 piety. (I've been lucky with having no dynasty members turn decadent.)

I really don't know why it's disappeared.

I can't confirm, but I have a hunch as to why this is. I think the county you want to take has to be under the direct control of the person you're declaring war on.

An example: Say you're Baghdad and you have a border with Tabriz and Tabaristan, and the two bordering counties are Oromieh (Tabriz) and Dailam (Tabaristan). The Emir of Tabaristan holds Dailam in his personal demesne, whereas Oromieh is under a Sheikh who is a vassal of Tabriz. You can conquer Dailam but not Oromieh.

Hope that makes sense.

This is correct. As a vassal, the county conquest CB goes a we bit strange. Unsure why this is designed this way.
Try to fabricate claims, assuming you aren't trying to rip the empire apart from the inside and sowing discontent.
