I know, i know - You can play VicII with the music you like in the background, so no need to complain about the music. And I won't. Thats not what this thread is about. It's about this mighty sentiment that apprehends me, when ever i hear this timid but hopefull melody, that accompanied my struggle to unite the germans in the Marchrevolution - it caries within that glimps of hope, this frail but brave desire for a new and better society, and makes its failure only more tragic... This careful and delicate string quartet would still have to wait, till it would become the pompous anthem of an united republican Germany. It is to this day the sound of my all time favourite VicI-moment and memory:

So my only request, or rather, my ardent plea to you, dear Paradox, is just one humble favour: Bring back the pompous Odes to royalty, the iron-rumbling symphonies of steam-engines, the drumming boots of victorious Armies. Give me back the sounds of progress, adventure, hope and revolutions... Thank you.
