Yeah, just noticed this while playing this morning, and it's such a weird thing. I love Paradox games' music, and when a particularly nice-sounding song came up this morning, I immediately tried to go to the music player to get the name of the track so I could find it again later... except, that's when I discovered this is the first Paradox game I've played (and I've played a LOT of them) that doesn't have the built-in music player. WTF? Why would this be left out of your brand-new title? Not to mention the hiding of all your tracks behind .bank files. And the "official" "complete" soundtrack you have on YouTube is a joke. It's nowhere near a complete soundtrack.

I agree, I would love to input some old CKII songs I bought with the dlcs and mix with this OST. Unfortunately, the files for CKIII OST are hidden...

I just went on youtube and ripped the tracks to mix with my ost. It was a bit of work, but worth it!

I was very surprised to find there wasn't a music player in this game, considering the two other PDX games I play (HoI4 and Stellaris) both have one.

I was so surprised to find there wasn't a music player that, at first, I thought maybe the game had gotten jostled while shipping and the music player had come loose and fallen off. I spent a few minutes searching the floor of my room to see if it had rolled out of the box or something, but then I realized I had bought a digital copy, so there wasn't a box for me to look in, or for the music player to have fallen out of.

You can imagine how silly I felt at that point.

I guess the music player is not yet implemented as the actual CK3 soundtracks are pittyful weak. Most of them are no more than background noise which hardly could be called music or even soundtracks. The only cool soundtrack of CK3 is Knights of Jerusalem, which is splitted into parts to acoustically support some events. I assume PDX ran out of budget to hire a cool orchestra for epic soundtracks and will later provide a costly soundtrack dlc.

But there is no reason for not implementing a music player which can contain older soundtracks from CK2, EUx and V2 or let the user implement his own playlists as mp3 or streams.
