I absolutely adore the music in this game. I don't know what the rules are, but am I able to get like the music in sheet music form? Because I know a awesome sax player who would die to transpose this!
I have never wanted a game so much as this one. The first time you cue up the menu, and the main title screen comes on, and it's singing in a weird mix of gregorian chant and bad ass war music.
Does anyone know what they're saying in the main title music? I have a feeling its latin.
I have to say that I find the music to be wonderful as well. It's like a soundtrack for an epic medieval movie.
I also love the artwork (particularly the one with the priest leading the faithful on a crusade). I hope Paradox releases some of it as wallpaper.
All in all I have to say that based on this demo, CK2 is destined for some very high scores. And this is coming from a guy who wasn't much of a CK1 fan and tried the demo with every expectation that I would lose interest quickly.
By looking at the songs.txt file, it's possible to add new music files as well as changing the modifiers so they could trigger differently for players depending on what the variables are (such as religion, culture, title, etc...)
I agree! the music is amazing in this game. I also love the music that is played in the character selection screen when clicking on one character to the next.
