[Multiple versions] multiplayer causing desync

Beginning Wednesday, I can no longer play multiplayer games. It will load them, connect to the game, advance one game then go out of sync. I've tried 2.4.2, 2.4.3 beta, and 2.3.6. Tuesday night it worked. Other guys I play with have PCs and I'm on a MacBook. May be an OS issue within multiplayer matchmaking.

We know there is an instant OOS in almost every case when playing with different OS. A workaround at the moment would be to load a save game when you host a game. That seems to work.
