After playing Cities Skylines for a while now, I have some suggestions. I am listing them below in separate categories.

Roads/traffic/infrastructure
1. Emergency services vehicles stop at red traffic lights, which causes traffic to stall. They have sirens on, so that they go through intersections immediately.
2. When an one way lane intersects an avenue or 3-lane motorway, it automatically forms a junction for both directions. This is completely unnecessary in most cases and we should be able to control if the exit of the one way lane should intersect on single or both sides of an avenue or 3-lane motorway.
3. Shouldn't we have one option of "street" (tarmack), listed between the dirt-road and the 2 directions road?
4. Roundabouts are huge! The smallest of them are the size of a large city block! I think we should have another two options of down-sized roundabouts.
5. Streets, roads, highways or bridges take a while to build. As far as the game has reference to time, shouldn't it be the same with the building of the infrastructure?

Transport
1. In a big city, when we press the transport button to add a bus line/stop, all chaos breaks loose. The existing network should be faded and only the one we are about to create should be brightly coloured at this point in time.
2. When we want to fit a train station on an existing railway line, we should be able to position it by the line. Then, to make it work, we should draw a road along it, not the other way round. This way, we won't have to bulldoze a part of the existing railway network.

Weather/Day and night time cycle
1. Bad weather should make buildings and infrastructure to take longer to finish.
2. I have the impression that night time lasts as long a day time. Maybe we should have an option if night time would be 1/2 of the day time or more.

Memory usage
1. Most of Cities Skylines players have a few assets and mods, that consume lot of memory. What if during the game, it would be automatic that any city block beyond a certain distance of where our screen is, would load everything blurry (less detail) to save memory?

Steam workshop
1. There should be a standard procedure for assets creators to save their creations. They should set what type of asset it is etc. At the moment, especially for some buildings, we don't know if it's a unique building or a level 5 skyscraper, building surface etc.
2. Make a forum where we will name and shame all the badly made assets that destroy our game experience. That will make it easier for CO to delete these assets from the workshop, sooner or later.
3. Could CO adopt some of the most frequently used playable assets and embody them into the existing game from the start?

Definitely think that there should be a way for a one way to snap to either direction of any road, rather than just the middle, in order to make intersections that don't cross the middle line
