Have you actually used the Multi-player? It is my one concern with this game. It seems to take a very long time to play, and since it is real time all the human opponents have to be available simultaneously. That is OK for short games like AOE II, but not epics. Especially with time zones.
As a resident of the New York, I would love to play against a Dutch opponent and start as the Manhattan Indians. My objective would be to conquer Amsterdam and ransom it for $12.76 worth of glass beads.
Any thoughts?

is there a way to continue a game once you started it, like save it on the hosts computer and when all the players are back on it starts again from where it left of or something?
