Hey folks!
Finally got around to playing HOI3 TFH Vanilla multiplayer. My brother and I are doing a co-op UK/France game, which should be amazing.
Our connection is really solid (using Hamachi) and doesn't noticeably lag unless we go speed 5.
The only problem we've encountered thus far is with manual upgrades (as in upgrade a militia brigade to infantry, etc.). UK is hosting the game. France upgraded some LARM to ARM and found afterwards (likely a short lag) that the brigade had gone back into the production queue (displaying as a ? brigade on the counter) with 0% progress.
We ended up restarting (just too much lost IC over a glitch) and decided not to do any manual upgrading.
My theory is that something goes wrong when an upgrade in the production queue "deploys" to the map during a momentary lag between the host and another player. The unit actually appeared as a "?" on my screen (the host) but an ARM on his briefly. Then after restart, it appeared as a "?" for both of us, as though the host never received the info that a unit had upgraded and just inserted it back into the queue.
Has anyone else had a similar issue? Just curious.
