Multiplayer on same PC?

With magicka 2 having controller support, I really, really, want to get my 5 and 3 year old with controllers randomly blowing things up along side me. Can I do this or will I need to get 2 extra pc's and copies of the game?

Since this appears to be targeting consoles with the controller support, and this is usually a staple of console games, will it have same / split screen multiplayer?

Magicka 1 let you do this, so the second game will too.

I doubt there will be split screen though, since it's rough on the eyes and not necessary.

Your 5 and 3 year olds will definitely be able to play with you on the same pc.
In fact, you 3 can play on one PC and then a fourth friend can join you over network, or on the same computer.

I am personally completely converted to the game pad. I even like it better than mouse and keyboard.
I know someone is gonna think 'blasphemy' now, but do try it. It's amazing.

Yup, as above, you can mix and match you your heart's content. I played a game just the other day with three people using gamepads, me on a mouse and keyboard. All locally from one PC.

Awesome I'm glad to hear this.
I was planning on getting an Alienware Alpha to set up in the living room so that I can blow up my housemates (that's what's most fun about Magicka )
