Multiplayer on beta 1.2 unplayable due to out of sync - will it be fixed?

Suffered a great disappointment - started a multiplayer on beta 1.2 with another player and while first 4 years were pretty noce (a lot of issues seem to be fixed) around 1840 each of us was always inevitably getting out of sync message and game was ending.
Didnt screenshot the full message unfortunately but i remember it was mentioning something about elections.

Also the game was breaking in several other moments - opening construction sector after that year, starting colonization...


Impossible to play. Disappointing for me as I play only multiplayer. Devs, will it be fixed for final version? @Wizzington

With beta push 2 they updated the known issue list to include:

6. Issues with the AI
6.1 (OOS after hotjoining (AI) in MP) Game goes OOS after hotjoining.[ Every time ]
6.2 Currently, there is a chance to go out of sync in multiplayer.
So I think they're aware of it, but if you have the error log you can try filing a bug report to be sure. OOS bugs are generally treated as high priority.

no they are never going to fix it, vic 3 is singleplayer only from here on out

Before the update hit we played a game with TGR and 2 other mods and I was relatively surprised how well it worked desyncs were approx every 2 to 3 hours, that was pretty okayish. After the update it desynced on elections every 2 minutes.

Is there a changelog for the beta versions?

There's no official change log for the beta as far as I know (though I think they should make one like Stellaris does for their betas).

Some forumites and redditors attempted to patch together unofficial changelists. Here's one for 1.2.0. And here's one for 1.2.1.

I think the third (and final) beta push is tomorrow, so maybe try again after that. It also sounded like from dev comments that there will be a few more changes and fixes between the last beta candidate and 1.2 release, so if it's not fixed, there's still hope it'll be fixed by the full release.
