Multiplayer Issue - connection lost

Hi guys,
I try to setup a multiplayer game with a friend of mine. We can host a game and join each others games, but when we start the "Waiting for other Player" shows up and after a minute or so it states that it has lost connection.
Is that a know issue / problem?

Please refer to the large number of other posts regarding multiplayer problems.
As a matter of fact, the game's multiplayer mode is seriously broken.

Playing multiplayer mode is not possible and the devs won't fix it.

the connection issues were never fixed. no one was able to figure out what the problem was, this what killed the game.
it would still be alive if the connections worked.
were all hoping paradox will have someone that can fix it.
