I love to play with my friend with competitors mode, and we also enjoy to build the city during the game.
However, we found that it not allow to place bus/trolley/tram stops and even waypoints on the roads built by competitors.

It is awesome to further develop the cities and build up the transportation network. By the way, fun loss when we cannot place stops on the area that develop by other player.
Would CO allows us to select the game allows to build stops/waypoints on competitor's roads or not before starting the multiplayer game?

Actually, we are compete with each other. The main aims for building the roads are help the cities growth and develop a new area. BTW, we do not want the area become private as it loss the mean of competitive, so we do not mind the opponent to use the road built.

I understand others may not agree with this, so I suggested the function should be selectable before starting the game.

I see your point. I also see the point of being able to make roads that the competitor can't use, primarily for designated bus routes. Perhaps we could make the option avaliable in game, so that the player can choose if the road is private or public when it is made.

yeah thats kinda stupid to have roads and neighbourhoods essentially that your competitor cant use... it'd be like dividing the original city into areas that you cant share... and that doesnt happen, so why does it happen like this?
I agree, it should be an option if thats the way you like to play it, other than that streets should be a common shared space.....
