Multiplayer country hopping?

Will HOI 4 allow players in MP to switch countries? Could a player start as France and then switch to USA should France get steamrolled by Germany? Could a player start as Germany, then switch to Italy in 1940? Could a player hop from minor to minor to get then going on a certain paths regarding industry, tech and foci?

And the money question - could the above be rigged in single player by starting a "MP" game with only one player and country hop?

I think it would be really cool to be able to start the game as say Italy for the Ethiopia fight, switch to Japan for the invasion of China, roll to Germany to get them ready for war, switch to France to try to defend against the army you created, then switch to USSR for Barbarossa, then USA to finish the game. Or create whatever sequence appeals.

Could be an interesting feature to add if it's not already possible.

You cant switch country turning a session you would have to rehost for that.
As for Singleplayer there is a cheat "tag" that lets you switch countries. If you want to play as Italy then you enter tag ITA in to the console.

Cheats are disabled by default in Multiplayer tho, so you cant use that tag command in MP. What you could do is save the game, rehost it and start in a different nation.

The host can't switch its nation in Multiplayer. But as Hotjoin is in, every ordinary player could simply leave the game and join again as someone else without rehosting.
