Hello all,

This is my first post on here, so sorry if this is the wrong area for this issue. My friends and I have been playing CkII LAN multiplayer with no issues for about the past year or so, until now. About a month or so ago I went to host a game as usual, except that my friends were unable to find my game. So they each tried to host in turn, and each successfully connected to one anothers' games, I was the only one who seemed to have an issue. After about a week of troubleshooting we figured out that the problem was with the checksums. We all have the same updated version, 2.1.6. My friends checksums were all TTXL, which after endlessly searching these forums and the internet appears to the right one for this patch. The problem is that my checksum is PWMF, and no matter how many times I uninstall/reinstall, verify the game cache, turn on and off various combinations of dlc, delete map caches, delete client registry.blobs, or opt in and out of betas, my checksum never changes. I have all the main dlc except India, one of my friends only has Old Gods, and another has all of them, however we've never had a problem before even with all different dlc's. The only thing that changed that I can think of is either updating to 2.1.6 (although it still doesn't work even if we all revert back to an older version), or getting the AGOT mod, which I deleted weeks ago.

This is probably my favorite game of all time, but what made it really special was being able to play with my friends! :(please let me know if there is anything I can do since I know it is my version that something is wrong with. My game is completely legit, including all the dlc. I'm happy to provide anymore info that is needed, but I'm not super tech savvy so keep it on my level please :D

I should also note that I have no problems playing solo, only multiplayer.

I know you say you've reinstalled, but please go through it again for me, just like this:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "delete local content" in Steam-CK2
- exit Steam
- manually delete all files and folders left under Steam/CK2 AND Documents/Paradox/CK2
- manually delete everything in the Steam folder EXCEPT steam.exe and the /SteamApps/ folder.
- manually run steam.exe and let it rebuild everything there
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- run up the game with no mods enabled, check checkum

That's ... not really possible. We've deleted and renewed every CK2 file on your machine, including in the Steam cache.

You don't have a second CK2 installation perhaps?

In Steam-ck2-properties-set launch options paste in

-skiplauncher

Any different?
