Multiplayer: Can a PC user and a Mac user play together?

Greetings!

I recently purchased CK2. After telling my girlfriend about it, she wants to play it with me. Obviously, I want to encourage her new-found desire to play video games.

However, I have a PC and she has a Mac. I am concerned that the Mac version will not be compatible with the PC version for multiplayer.

Can we play together online, under these circumstances?

Of course you can, the game is identical on all 3 platforms. They can play together, the only requirement is you have the same version and checksum.

Thank you very much for your prompt and helpful reply. That was what I was hoping and expecting to learn. I'll strike while the iron is hot and get her to pick up a copy while she's still interested in the idea of gaming. haha
