Hello there,

this is my first thread, so I am sorry if I do something wrong. :)

Anyway a buddy and I found an bug, which occured in an EU4 Multiplayer Match on the current Patch Japan.
If it is important, we have 5 DLCs and no mods enabled.
The DLCs are:
- Common Sense
- Art of War
- The Cossacks
- Mandate of Heaven
- Rights of Men

This has to do with the guaranteering freedom action and the call to arms mechanic with human players.

My friend was attacking country A, which guaranteered the freedom of country B. I wanted to attack country B, which would automatically put me in war with country A. I noticed, that the option to call my friend is available so out of curiousity i called him in. Since he was already at war with country A, he didnt get an call to arms alert and nothing really happened. He had his war, i had mine. So we didn't mind and continued playing.
Now some days later when we wanted to continue the campaign, our save was bugged out, so that everytime we started the game my friend got only the sound of an Call to Arms but no notification or somesting else. Furthermore his alliance with me was broken. However on my perspective I still got the alliance. I couldn't cancel the alliance and he couldnt offer me one. Calling him into war with a testing war worked fine too. So we decided to see what happens and continued playing until the game crashed.

We looked at some older saves and many of them had the same issue. Eventually we found a save which wasn't compromised. It was about 2 ingame years before the newest savegame but still after the whole calling to arms incident.

I just wanted to post this, if this is an known bug or not.

Love your games, Paradox. Keep going with it ! :)
