multiplayer beyond 1792 - is it possible?

arghh, i tried to play over the LAN with buddies and the game will not let us go beyond yr 1792... is there a way to avoid the forced ending?

fyi, we played with no pre-defined scenario.

No, Eu 1 finishes in 1792 and that is that. EU2 starts in 1419 and goes to 1819, so an extra 100 years all toild.

thanks, AndrewT, that seems to be the way it's supposed to be

although I've just figured out that one can edit the scenario file with Notepad to set the desired time frame for the game as well as many other options

so it's doable depending on how far you wanna go from what the interface restricts you to...
