Well I use imageshack and it sure seems a lot more friendly. I went to your link and fished about and it crashed my browser to the desktop hard taking with other open files in that browser.

I used to use freeimagehosting, now I will use this
You clicked on the lightmap link and it crashed everything?

Could somebody do an experiment and find out if it is allowed to increase the height or width of map\tiles.bmp by multiples of 32 pixels, please.
Never mind, I tested it and it works.Yukala said:I do not believe I understand enough to check such a thing? Could you elaborate in detail?
When I renamed navaldist.tbl, my game froze, and cpu was at 50%. I assume that the game was recreating it.HistoryMan said:navaldist.tbl is (re)created by the game if it is missing or if you change any of the port locations/sea zone links in game. It takes quite a while to (re)generate this file (as it is 8MB or so in size) on a slow machine, and the game will appear "frozen" until it finishes doing so, but it will only do it once after the changes. Thereafter (unless you make more such changes, of course) it uses the new file it has created.
Can't help you re adjacent.tbl, however - never tried deleting it to see if it gets recreated.

Those are errors. I still do not what causes them. Once I figure that out, I'm almost finished.Yukala said:Most interesting, why do you suppose there is so 'noise' on the borders?
Actually not a bad idea.Yukala said:can they simply be all erased so they will not ever be a issue for modding in other names in the data files?
