When I formed Mughals as Timurids it gave me claims on the whole subcontinent. If I remember correctly, forming Russia did something similar for European Russia.
Are we expected to actually use these claims? I feel like the twenty five years in which claims are valid typically don't allow that much conquest. In the case of my Mughals, I'd racked up a bunch of AE annexing Delhi, so I spent most of the twenty-five years after formation getting the Indians out of their coalition. I was able to nab, like, four provinces with those claims before they expired.
