Emperor Akbur, in his wisdom, decides to consider the course of consolidation and peaceful expansion. He is aware of other remnants of the horde who preferred rapid expansion- and are now all history as they became integrated by more level headed rulers.
The legacy of Genghis Khan now rests upon the shoulder of Emperor Akbur, who decides to gain more friends before dealing with the growing neighbors of the north and west.
In the meantime, the family of the saxon, who for once, have brought forth some sane members, take care of diplomatic matters.

It is a sunny day in Armenia, as Mughal troops take up a position along the border to Crimea as a sign of friendship.
We gracefully offer the leaders of Crimea to retire and let the Mughals rule their lands. Looking down the barrels of 200k Mughal soldiers, they wisely accept to enjoy the spoils of their hard labor in a beach resort.

Emperor Akbur has called in Sakonur the second into his royal residence.
Emperor Akbur: "Listen, I believe that the time has come to cement the security of our western border."
Sakonur: "Wow! So, at last I will be able to charge the enemy and overrun those bastards and run them through with my spear like my father and his father before him?"
Akbur: "Errr, not quite. Your son will be able to use your "spear" though. Meet Princess Aishe, your new wife, niece of Suleyman, ruler of the Turks."

In Delhi, Emperor Akbur pores over his maps. Lately, more and more western barbarians were sighted along the shores of India. Yet, his maps show no way for the ships of the French and English to get there...
Enter the royal cartographer Rashidi ibn Saud al Hadja Ben Midra sun Khan the younger. Or Tom, as his friends call him.
Emperor Akbur: "Our Maps are crap. I think we need to train people to find a seaway to Europe."
Tom: "Yes, your highness. This will take some years, though. Are there any other matters you wish to discuss?"
Emperor Akbur: "Sure enough. I think we need an outpost somewhere along the south-eastern coast of Africa, should it become necessary to strike against the heathens from the west. We have on port in crimea, but I would like to find another route to them, too."
Tom: "Well, actually we DO have an outpost there. Look, there"
Emperor Akbur: "You mean in the vicinity of that piece of mosquito dropping?"
Tom: "Actually the "mosquito dropping" is the island. It is called Sansibar, and we got it when we annexed Oman."
Emperor Akbur: "Well, if this is how you depict an island on our maps, I think I will give our royal beheader the chance to show you how a job is done professionally.".
On the next day, the Emperor sits together with his new royal cartographer Feisal ibn Raul bin Djinni ben Salaam Hadji alef Oma. Or Dick, for his friends.
Emperor Akbur: " Rework the maps now."
Dick: "Yes, sir, on my way."
Emperor Akbur: "And, don't loose your head".
5. 16. 1582 We build a trading post in Cochin

As the arts and alcohol abuse reach a new high in the Mughal empire, disturbing news reach Akbur. In the province of Madurai, beyond the lands of Mysore. This time, the white devils seem to want to build a whole city in the lands of India. Mysore sides with the enemy in as much as they don't drive off the western barbarians right away.

1. 1. 1588 The colony of Madurai becomes a prospering meeting point for traders from all over. Worst of all, many traders from our own southern provinces who used to deal in Delhi now go and fill the coffers of the English dogs.
For the first time in history, Emperor Akbur regroups a war council. Fifty years have passed, since the last war, and only the old ones still remember the conflict that lead to Mughal domination of the muslim art. Right after their foundation, they decide for Sakonur the third to lead the council, for he has the gift of the madman, as they call it.
Emperor Akbur: " With a weighted heart, I must inform you, that we need to prepare to defend India from foreign devils. Long have we accepted the pagans of Mysore as natives to our lands who shall live on our side. Yet, now they let foreign devils dwell on our shores, even letting them prosper by trading our goods. Thou shalt prepare for war. Within ten years I want our empire to be ready to crush Mysore and the foreigners. Furthermore, I want to be safe from our neighbors to the west and north, in case they want to use our engagement in the south to their advantage. I want armies guarding our borders. Those armies shall be big enough, not only to defend our lands, but lead the dog of wars deep into the lands of our enemies, shall they unleash them. Regent Sakonur, make it so."
Sakonur 3rd: "We will kick ass and take names!!! PANTS FOR ALL!!!! Bring in the lawnmowers!!!!"

Emperor Akbur: "I suppose they killed him, cut off his head and then shot him back to our ship with a note pinned to his back saying [/i]You suck![/i]?"
Advisor: "But, emperor, how did you know?"
Emperor Akbur: "Well, everybody we meet acted this way so far, so that one was predictable..."
