-Be able to close a trade center upon conquering it. It would be divided between its neighboring trade centers.
Or a dynamic trade centers where alot of competition would expand and embargos shrink it.
-Raising war taxes should come at an expense, like increased war exhaustion
-Be able to recruit 2 type of infantry, ranged and melee. Ranger beats infantry beats cavalry and cavalry beats rangers.
-Mountains should have a lower supply limit then woods!
-Cavalry units should move faster then infantry
-I find the ledger a cheat mechanism and should be removed and only given by ways of espionage. Not realistic I can know everything about my enemies all the time.
-The south coast of Crimea are very hilly so the provinces of Kaffa and Theodora should both not be steppe.
Also the Ottoman provincial coast of the Aegean sea should all be Greek culture. It was until beginning 20th century when the Greek people fled en masse after the Turkish independence war.
-Make the game start decades earlier like 1419 or 1399, would be awesome.

They already come at an expense: 50 MIL power every two years.

This was removed in the final days of EU3, because it turns out that this mostly functions as a beatstick for the human to get extra leverage over the AI.

One of the forum regulars actually provided a fairly coherent argument for why this is nonsense: governments typically had about as good an idea of how many troops their neighbours could call up as they had of how many troops they themselves could call up. Since you know your own manpower and army size to the last warm body, it's perfectly reasonable to have a similar level of information about, at a minimum, anyone you share a border with and anyone who owns provinces in a trade node you have a merchant in.

Explicitly rejected, repeatedly, from the very start of EU4's development. Fortunately, there are mods available, written by people who care about those years more than Paradox do.

I don't agree when most of your suggestions but I always wondered why western Anatolia is entirely Turkish but for Scio.
Also Crimea as a steppe strikes me as odd, too.
Another argument for the ledger: the AI has access to the same information. Otherwise it would declare even more suicidal wars.
