Ability to delete road
Basically the title. I've been in situations where I accidentally built a road, left an army on road building and gave it to the ai to manage, or just find the roads in Anatolia undesired and would be stuck with them. Just a QoL feature :)

Sometimes I wonder why my cities that are close to rebellion are fighting to the last man to hold a fort for me. A low loyalty city could offer to surrender in exchange for no looting or slave raiding.

I'll preface this by saying that the mercenary army component of this suggestion would require both a drastic reduction of mercenaries present on the map at the start date, as well as a way to remove mercenaries similarly to how we can today...
