I have created two mp scenario's to be used with Kasperus' WatK3v1 mod. The 1419 scenario is just a slightly changed version of the WatKGC.
The 1492 scenario is based on Peter's Age of Explorations 1492 v1.11

The scenario's are primarily intended for MP games and hence mostly try to be historical correct and balanced for the selectable countries. The AI (ie non-playable) countries have less focus.

1419 mp scenario
1492 mp scenario
1492 mp scenario with AGCEEP leaders

I have uploaded the mod (with the mp scenario's included) here.

To install it, you need a clean backup copy of your EU2 install with the 1.09 patch. Just unrar the watkmp rar file to the main directory.

If you find things that need to be corrected from a historical and/or mp perspective, please post it here.

Change list 1492 scenario version 6
  • Orkney transfer to Scotland
  • Slightly more manpower for Portugal again
  • balanced AI armies in the HRE
  • Set England to 0% inflation

Change list 1492 scenario version 5
  • Fixed native errors
  • Slept Polish event 3474 - Hohenzollern Prussia become Polish Duchy
  • Moved Nuernberg from Brandenburg to Bavaria
  • Moved Ochakov and Kalmius from Lithuania to Crimea
  • Ruthenian culture to Russia
  • Restored Austrian relations with the world
  • Restored Austrian badboy to 0
  • Increased starting treasury for the ultra poor
  • Upgraded manpower Iberians slightly
  • Fixed map knowledge of Kongo, Zimbabwe, Bugande and the NA pagans
  • Removed Inca colony
  • Tweaked cot setup (population level and knowledge) and removed Nadj and Hainan as a CoT. CoTs should be more stable now and correct provinces tied to it. Except Astrakhan which I simply can't get richer.

Change list 1492 scenario version 4
  • Change list of version 2 and 3 combined

Change list 1492 scenario version 3
  • Cordoba is now catholic at start
  • Spain now controls Grenada at start
  • Tula is now Russian
  • Lithuania now has Ruthenian culture
  • Cut down Swedish navy somewhat
  • Cut down Russian navy somewhat
  • Poland starts with Mykola Radivil and Glynskiy
  • Moved LIV army at Osel to their capital
  • Moved leaders Ostrozskiy, Juriy Radivil, Nemyrovych, Mykola Radivil and Roman Sangushka from LIT to POL
  • Smolensk now has base tax 3
  • Moved Neumark to BRA
  • Lowered French forts

Change list 1492 scenario version 2
  • Fixed map knowledge of Austria
  • Austria now has tax collectors everywhere
  • Removed CoT in Livonia (because there's now one in Danzig)
  • Lowered army of England a bit, since they were over the support limit
  • Removed CoT in Andalusia. It will appear with the event of 1500 and trade distribution will be okay then too.
  • Portugal now has tax collectors everywhere
  • Spain has now tax collectors everywhere
  • Upgraded the population of La Mancha to prevent a total wipeout by the Torquemada event
  • Upgraded population of Scandinavia slightly
  • Bohus transferred from Sweden to Denmark
  • Ottoman Empire now has tax collectors everywhere
  • Venice has now tax collectors everywhere
  • Fixed map knowledge Venice, but gave them knowledge to the CoTs of Baghdad and Delhi
  • Bavaria has tax collectors everywhere now
  • Persia has tax collectors everywhere now
  • Fixed map knowledge of all AI nations
  • Ashanti is now pagan

Persia has 15 wrong religion provs out of 21.
12 provs are rigth culture.
because of this stab cost are high..
And they start at -3.
No tax collectors..
They start with a truce with timurids, lasting for five years, and their armies are marching around as if they still was at war with them, and their movements are highly remniscent of those of the ai.
And their big army is placed in province where attrition is 20%
All of this will cause much headache for a someone playing Persia....

Are you sure you have checked the scenario version posted here? The persian religious problems and such were already corrected.

They are at -3 stab and at peace with TIM because the nation just has formed in history. All other things you described are already corrected, except the tax collectors which I will do now :)

1419 Scenario:

CoT anomolies noted in Africa - several provinces end up trading out of either Japan or Mexico!

Specifically: Zimbabwe, Buganda and half the Kongo trade out of Tenochitlan, the rest of the Kongo trades out of Yamashiro.

The CoT problems seem to be part of this mod (and not the scenarios). Kasperus' own GC has your reported problems too.

I'll query this to Kasperus, since it looks like mod files need to be changed for this to be fixed.

BTW, this seems to happen in other (MP) scenario's too. I guess it isn't a big problem anyway.

As I am just now making a scenario based upon WatK3.1 myself this interests me a lot.

The worst thing I read this far was the map knowledge of Austria. Potentially gamebreaking if you ask me.

FAL, if you analyse this particular bug more, i.e. look around to see if more Europeans have a similar knowledge, then please tell me.

When you have updated the Austrian map knowledge I will dl your scenario and copy your list of known provinces for them.

Daniel,

The Austrian map knowledge is bugged because I copied some data from a savegame of DbD. It has been fixed already. Are you going to make a 1492 scenario yourself?
Anyway, you simply can copy the knowledge of France if you want a correct one for Austria. Or wait till I have uploaded a newer version :)

Well, we are going for a 1419 version as both Aladar and I like that. So I use the Watk3.1 Grand Campaign for MP as the basis. And I will not create a MOD. Merely a save from Jan 1 1419.

It is the "equal" scenario so I have set most values alike in the starting nations.

Good to hear that my own AUS will not have this corrupt map knowledge. Regarding this type of problem I have so far only corrected a few weird TI spots for Karaman, which may be one of our starting nations. The "blind" spots probably stems from the addition of new provinces IDs. Must be quite tiresome to update the list of known provinces for all nations each time you add a new province.

You also need to check the TI seazone in the botnic gulf..otherwise the map knowledge of the GC should be fine.
Sweden starts in the WAtK scenarios without knowledge of two sea zones in the waters off its own shores.
