Hi all,

I have a long history of playing HOI since the beginning. But I have never played a MP game.

I have played with Vanilla DD, HSR and lately normal DD with DAIM.

I hope someone can introduce me to play a MP game for once (and many times thereafter).

I am from the Netherlands by the way.

Dank je wel Visser.

Anybody who knows where to go as a beginner for multiplayer? I know the game well as I have fought many grand campaigns from 1936, know the mechanics of land, naval and air.

My next target is multiplayer, hope someone can use me.

Post in threads that talk about MP sessions, there's a chance to see someone giving you a minor country for starting.

Thanks for the tip.

I know I got to earn it to play a bigger part from the beginning but I am no newb. But I can understand the way it works.

SP and MP are two entirely different beasts, with two different natures. You can pretty much tell what the computer will do next, humans are unpredictable, adding an element of difficulty. All I am saying is that many a SP legend learned much when they stepped into the MP arena. I speak from on-going experience as I have been playing MP for 9 months now. Best of luck to you. :)

qft

Because humans can actually exploit your weaknesses and mistakes, you have to be on your toes. I cannot say enough to the value of a well thought out and executed strategy in MP. You cant just charge off into the USSR and ad-lib it, for example.

When you give me your MSN we could do a 1 vs 1. It wil help you a lot to see and learn the difference between SP and MP.

Thanks Visser,

I have send you a pm.

I truly understand that MP is different then SP. But I think my play of the game is already like its MP. Guarding all beaches, and important provinces that the enemy cant reach (but can in MP with paradrop).

Anyways, I also play Empire in arms, the blue and the grey and forge of freedom. They are also great strategic games (altough I only am learning them just).

Greets Aron.

I dont have armageddon, I can buy that one of course. I play Doomsday with latest patch, also have Daim.

I am sure I can play at least once a week. Would be great.
