Morph and I used to play EU together (as you can tell by our AARs ;)) However, I went on my trip, and Morph did a spyware purge while I was gone. Since I've been back we haven't been able to play. Whenever I host a game and give him my IP, he puts it in and the game says "No game at my ip". Same with him hosting for me. However, billybob can join my games. Is the problem in a firewall or something of the like or are our games incompatible now? Same thing happens with Vicky- we can't join a game together.

This is really an annoying problem.... I think I'm gonna post something in Vic, too, so we can have more input.

Firewall.

IIRC there is a HOI MP thread that was the usual reference point for which ports to open etc (unless you simply disable firewall while playing).

Else you could look in the EU2 MP or the Vicky MP - so far all P-dox games seems to follow the same communication rules for MP.

I have no firewalls, and Morph has disabled all of his known ones.

You get free firewalls with XP, and SP2 activates it in a more 'interdictive' mode.

Maybe spyware-purger is also acting enough like a firewall?
Any of you changed internet service provider?
