I'd like to compile the Best Players by Various Skills... I'll post my Reviews and others modify with their own! Thankyou ;) and please no voting for yourself

Best Warriors in Order of Skill:
Temujin, this guy I've seen steadily improve from Modest and become a Monster. I boasted I could beat him, and he bested me 2 outta 3 on even ground, a rare thing these days

Dave Lifford, fine Centurion, always been an unstoppable force with momentum. That's his key by far, Expansionism by War and then consolidation

Drake, By Far, 2nd to Tem, one of the most Improved Warriors... He has a defensive and offensive edge. Despite unstable behavoir he is by far one of the better Warriors... though poor politician

Belisarious, I haven't seen him in action a lot, but he also is a great Expansionist! He tends to like Behemoths

*Many missing from this list do to inactivity... Kleves & Holistic God though one is eternally absent, two fine Warriors. Both get you "Angry as Hell" to fight them and inspire you to love War in this Game.

Best Economist:
By Far, #Shigure#, leads this category in all games I've ever played. I've seen him make Austria turn a tidey income.

Drake, you can't doubt his abilities in this region

There are quite a few adept economists, that are dedicated to this Group, to make an indepth list I could mention many of you however few Lead...

Arcorelli, quiet Economist last games I've played with them

Best Diplomat:

Shigure, I've never seen anyone quietly slip by everyone with such skill :p

Dave Lifford again voted, due to the fact He's someone you can trust to a degree with some ability.

Holistic God, you can trust him sometimes, and he loves the politics and discussion more than the game.. More than most.. He definitely takes games with Politics

TPC, the most curse Words I've ever heard in a game ever...

Beli, trustworthy so far! Though he stands against blatant Warmongering

Reliable Guys:

King John, DynoKeg, Camisa, Duma, Bocaj, TAF.. All these guys deserve a good mention for attendance, and skill. Are neck and neck and could be better than the above but I haven't had as many games with some of them or recently.

My list would be like this.

Best Warlords:
* HolisticGod (I think this is a matter of course to put him here :) )
* Damocles (A very high skilled warrior, never forget he's Austria in SfS  )
* Prince Eugene (Atleast in Nappy games :p)

Best economics:
* Peter E (Those times i played with him is enough to put he's name here :) )
* Tonio (That guy can build up a 1 province minor to become the nr1 leader in trade)
* King John/Bocaj (I was really impressed in KJs Denmark in one of the saturday games, and Bocaj is very skilled in this area too)

Best Diplomats:
* Barnius (He was awesome in Mach3 :) )
* Arcorelli (A very good diplomat and i enjoy RP with him)
* Hive (I was really impressed from New Order 2 when he convinced everyone that my England was the biggest threat towards everyone, suddenly everyone called me evil and i ended up fighting all of Europe while Hive the bastard grew bigger as Austria eating german minors while everyone fought me  )
* HolisticGod (unreliable :p, trick you and after that convince you again that HoG is you'r only friend and the only one you can trust) :D

Best all-round players:
*Owen
*Juv95hrn
*Devil

Best Warrior: Good old Damocles, closely followed by HolisticGod, Prinz Eugen and RedPhoenix.

Best economist
: TheArchduke, Tonio or devil.

Best diplomat: Hard to say... even the best diplomats horribly fail every now and then. But TheArchduke and Slargos are always good for some good old scheming. Adam Breit recently impressed me on the diplomatic side, but since I have only played with him ½ game, I can't say for sure... :)

How about some more categories btw?

Least hot-tempered: Arcorelli. I have played with this guy in many games, but I have yet to see him curse or get mad.... or at least show it. :D

Best host: Slargos, with Vricklund being a strong newcomer.

Now I'm bound to have forgotten someone... it's 2:20 AM, after all... but eh. :D

Best Warlords:
*Belisarius. I've seen him fight off the world and force a stalemate more often than not. Due to both his great war play and great economics.
*HolisticGod. When it comes to being merciless, nobody beats HG. If he smells blood he'll try and take you down if he can get away with it.
*King John. He's at his best for limited scale warfare, especially when he can use a fleet to maneuver his armies in position and choose his battles. Very good at micro-managing a war.

Best economics:
*Tonio. Like Fredrik said, haven't seen any better trader yet.
*Drake. When left to his own design, he'll usually build an unmatched economy which he in turn uses to support a unmatched war machine.
*Belisarius. Again, somehow this guy takes almost any country and turns it into both a military and economical monster.
Honorary mention: Shigure, who I've yet seen being able to reliably make a strong economy, but who's shown to be able to take a beaten country and turn it into the world economical superpower in a matter of a few decades.

Best diplomats:
*Shigure, certainly as mentioned, few players are subtle(and a bit fickle :p) like him.
*HolisticGod, even though you know you can't trust him more than necessary, and usually more than on the short term
*Drake, if only because its his diplomatic ability which buys him the time to build the economic and military machine he needs for his plans. You'll never see Drake rushing in a battle until he's fully confident he dominates on every level.

Anyway..

Best Economists:
Belisarius takes the cake. I haven't played much with arcorelli but judging by save files he seems to be a very able economist. Bocaj and the Archduke are also rather good. (Everyone seems to have forgotten about ulver...)

Best Diplomats:
I've actually seen very little impressive diplomatic work. I remember having the shit scared out of me by Damocles and JohnMK but that was long ago.

edit: forgot about RedPhoenix. He definitely takes the diplomatic cake. :D

Best Warriors:
Damocles, RedPhoenix, Temujin

Well, since everyone is putting their best lists, I guess I will do that too.

Best Warrior: Damocles, Holistic God (well I had not played a lot with some of the nominess, but it seems that Lifford is a guy to fear :)
Best Economist: Archduke, Tonio.
Best Diplomat: Not sure actually. There are a lot of good diplomatic players around, not sure who are the best ones.

Best all around player: Peter Ebbesen. Maybe not the best warrior, or the best making money, or in diplomacy, but clearly good -very good, extremely good- at all of them. And always extremely fun to play with.

PE, I haven't seen JohnMK in action in years. Damo still playing?

Arcorelli is good at economy! Though I've never seen a guy modify his sliders :p like Shig and take Brittany and turn it into 1000 ducats a month meanwhile Arcorelli eventually got up around 2/3rds that income "much later" still he was very able. Never seen Belisarious do what these guys did... He did closer to the level of Arcorelli but not quite.

Shig also accomplished this with more than 1 Nation...

PE you're actually one of those good Warriors :p but I could beat ya :p

well, my experience is limitted because i didn`t play many games, so here is my list :)

War: HG, King John, Belli (too less experience to judje well Damocles, Dago and Red Phoenix)
Economic: in fact there is no hard to make a good trade, and that is most part of income, but Hmmm and King John are my choice (Bocaj and Arco are runners-up)
Diplomacy: Slargos, Hive, HG, Devil (i suppose there are much more good diplomats :) )
