MP people unable to connect to server

Hi,

me and my friends have been playing stellaris for a while now, we used to have no problem connecting to my games but all of a sudden all my friends get the error when trying to connect "unable to connect to the games server this might be due to restricted firewall settings" I've tried just completely disabling my firewall but to no avail. We are playing on the 2.2.5 beta

Anybody else have had this same problem and how did you fix it?

Hi , MP is still a Huge issue in Stellaris....

Do you use the newest version ?
Do they connect via steam or via the ingame friendslist ?
Did you try forward the steam matchmaking ports ?

we use the 2.2.5 beta or the test version.
we tried both.
yes we have and none worked.
