Does anyone know if there is any advantage to do this? Or is it just for aestethic reasons.

If I was playing Russia I would never move the capital to S:t Petersburg, closer to those mean Swedes, but rather to Siberia were noone could get at it... :D

I think that moving your capital will be event based. Therefore I doubt you could just move it to anywhere you want.

I think you should be able to move your capital freely since you are the supreme ruler. Could set it so you could only move your capital to provinces with an equal or higher population than your present capital province. Moving to CoT province can happen too regardless of population size. I'd had times where my capital province isn't the highest populated province I control, as such it would make sense that one would move their capital to where most the people are, or most the money is in regard to CoT.

I like your sig!

Sorry for having nothing constructive to add to the topic. There has been an extensive thread about it and all has been said there, including how many times and on what occasions the Chinese empire has moved it's capital.

So has the US. It started out at New York, went to Philly (or was it the other way around?) and then ended up in Washington, DC after they built the Capital.

Peace Treaty Term

Hey
I remember reading in another forum that there is a possibility of forcing a nation to move their capital. Well, I came across the situation where France only had Paris and a TP on Kitimat (that small island just off Northwest America). If I could force France to move their capital, would that situation be possible? Or, in EU II, I'd just annex them?
