Hello I'm EU4 and CK2 fan.

I don't like how weirdly "fast" are units moving,
on slowest game speed I would prefer nice animation like in EU4,
so that you can see armies marching and ships sailing.

Shame to have such beautiful 3D graphic when they almost "teleport" there...
On slowest speed you have to see them.

But unit movement speed is EXTRAORDINARILY slow. See here and here for the math. Do you really want to make it slower?
I suspect he is referring to the movement of the sprite. It stays immobile until the day it moves, moving all the route at once. He suggests to have a progressive movement along the route while the movement is not finished.

this is misunderstanding, how fast units move in game like game mechanic - that is calculated and shows as filling arrow when they are moving - that is OK I am not mentioning this

I am refering only to animation after unit moved completely from 1 province to another - there should be nice animation slow animation of equal speed for all units / ships and this could be turnable on / off if someone don't like it i.e. make units moving animations exactly like in EU4

yeah, exactly

aha, no not exactly what I meant, but though this is intertesting idea also, could be maybe even best solution, duno, but I meant EU4 movement sprite style, because it is that way also now just ridiculously fast animation and thus - nice graphic is wasted (imho)

--- edit 2

hmm no " progressive movement" is not good solution because, then it would be chaotic in case of chasing armies - you wouldn't easily know if you are still in old province or in new and if you would intersect some enemy marching...

bottom line it has to be like EU4 - that's best
