Also, I cannot destroy my kingdom titles as it says succession must not be gavelkind, despite me having changed the succession to seniority for the ones I wanted to destroy.

I've had the same problem in my current game. It seems that you can't destroy any titles now if you hold a title that has gavelkind. I'm not sure if this is WAI or a bug.

Always been that way, as far as i recall now.
Naturally, as by destroying such title you would rob someone of his inheritance, at least potentially.
More so with Gavelkind, than any other succession law.
