Moving AAR's

Is it possible that some of the most popular AAR's on this board could be moved to the AAR section on the website? I think that would be a good way to insure the best of the best don't move to the bottom of the section and get deleted one day. Plus a reader who gets to an AAR late can read just the author's part of the AAR without sifting through piles and piles of reader comments which are fine, but can be tedious when you have to read through a few hundred posts.

Of course the AAR would only be moved once the author has finished the campaign

I don't even know if it would be possible or feasible, but its just my thought what do you think?

VultureGFF - I had all those AAR's in mind and I was thinking of a few other classics that I can't find anymore. This way they will stay immortal, or as long as they run this website anyways...

Have you search in the aar from the beginning? You may find the old aar's there. Good luck

I can host all those AARs and their screenshots. I already host BiB's AAR and I'm still waiting for people to upload their AARs. Also Kehfee is right, an AAR has to be uploaded once its finished. Whoever wants to work with this idea please E-mail me. I will provide you with an FTP account, a systemvoid.com subdomain, and will help you with the design. Though the volunteer will have to work with putting AARs into an HTML format since I don't have a lot of free time right now.

Warspite's Italy AAR can't be moved yet since it's still in progress (only up to the mid-1560's and we're already over 1000 posts. )Besides, it's an interactive AAR which means we're all involved in writing the story, so I guess it needs to stay on a message board.

Do whatever you want with the rest but I'd recommend getting the author's permission first.

You gotta read the thread more carefully next time. I'm would never move or use someone else's creative work. People just want a place where all the finished AARs will be stored and I'm offering it.

Maybe I'm new here, and just maybe different with you guys (I love the game and because of location problems don't have it), but I'm in favor of all kind of inmortality of knowledge.

Besides most of your AARs are fun and for a guy like me, who is almost 24 hours a day in the net, it's a relax.

Put it up then and good luck. Conquer or be destroyed!!!

No, I understood what you meant; I was just responding to a comment Vulture made implying that the Italian AAR was one of the ones that should be moved. Just pointing out that it's not finished yet so it can't be moved. Do whatever you like with the ones that are done. I don't care.

In what format do you want it? Wordpad, regular word, text, ...

Gandalf the way I interpreted what Vulture was saying was that he was siting examples of AAR's that should be saved for anyone to read, not that they will or should be. That's up to who makes them of course.

Text format would be good enough, though I'll give you a special tag which you will use to indicate where you want screenshots or other special graphics positioned. Just look at BiB's AAR, see those images saying war? I can place those and many other custom images to spice up your AAR.
