I have a question about how movement will affect combat: A German army is moving north, a Russian army attacks from the east. So, do the Russians get a bonus because 1. The Germans are moving and not prepared for combat, and 2. The Russians are attacking from the flank? Or will it be like EU2 where they just stop and fight at full combat strength?

Another question: If you attack an army from multiple directions at once will it give you a bonus in combat?

Also, Will you know where enemy armies are at all time a la EU2 (so far that is the way it seems)? Or will you just know where the frontlines are, and have to recon to find the enemy troops strength.

A similar question:

Will a bonus be given to an army which has entrenched (represented by the old ring of piled dirt/sandbags around the unit's feet/tracks)? Can we entrench? Can we build the Atlantic Wall?

Entrenching was graphically well represented in Steel Panthers (one of my favorite games BTW).:)

Well from the screenshot of Italy, one could suggest that improving fortifications(air and coastal too) will have a similiar "Atlantic Wall" effect.
Go check out that screenshot again. looks great! :)
