Playing serveral times now in 1.05c (no mods) i saw, that my troops are walking unhistoricly fast.
In my last game as germany (1936), Poland was conquered in about 9 days (2 third of all provinces conquered. Annexed poland on 9. Sept. 1939.....
Attacked russia on mid july 1941. In Sept 1941 (9 weeks later) i controlled russia from archangelsk to astrakahn (A-A-Line), conquered all finland (who has lost the winterwar against russia very bad...) and armored troops are now 4 provinces away from Irkutsk.
In reality it was absolutely impossible for the german troops to move so fast into russia. No way, they conquered all this provinces until A-A-Line until Sept 41. Oh and the germans started 3 weeks before (22. June).
I also had haevy fightings with many russian troops, but conquering russia in a quarter year is easy possible in 1.05c. (setting is hard/normal)
I think, the movement speed of all landbased troops should be halved or maybe cut to 1/3.
This could make unhistorical longtime movements in bad infastructure provinces, but movement in such provinces should then be made quicker.
Maybe others have said this before, but unfortunatly the search-function dont works.
How see other players this movement-problem ????
