honestly, i do think that movement-is-attack is a GREAT IDEA and has its realitics at well.
On the other hand, instant defense concept (support defense) is not realistic (pretty easy to visualise, right?)
SO, don't change it, please

However, I would like to make some suggestions:
1) Set a function(minister,leaders,terrain,exp,div,etc) for the speed of Movement-is-attack (how quick the attack starts);
2) Set a function(similar to above) to account for the rest time for re-attack to the same direction(not province, since more than 1 province could be in the same direction in some cases);
3) Set a longer delay time for other directions (ie. more time for positioning units to another directions).

Just about to finish a seawar game as Japan (Coral War), it is my first time to play naval and air units of the game. I love it. It is excellent
some small problems found as well. but still feel very happy :p
