Hi,
I tried to install Victoria1 on a new system and though the game installs alright, the pointer arrow in the opening screen does not show up. I had this same problem on HOI1 and posted a thread on that forum as well. Is their a graphics setting I have to change or is this just too old a game to install on a new system?

I'm sorry for late reply but I purchased Victoria (Steam) yesterday and I had same problem.
I have an ati card and I resolved "disabling" Catalyst AI in Catalyst Control Center.
If you have an ati card try this method.
