The XBox ONE and ONE X support keyboard and mouse and I've read the PS 4 does so too.

The only thing to consider is that a very large focus of this edition has been to make the game work fluidly with the controller and it does work very well.

More so only asking for the hot keys if I could use both. Do you know how to set it up?

I have no idea how to set up Keyboard Hotkeys on the Console Edition.

However I do know that the Controller has been mapped like a giant Hotkey tool. D pad left takes you to menues for all your Empire Information. D pad right takes you to your actual physical things in your empire from planets to ships, and if they're spread accross several sectors you can go to anything in a splt second.

If you're used to PC controls for this type of game then you need to make friends with your controller.

The downside is we don't like to do new and different things when we already have a "way" of doing it. That's just human nature.

The upside is once you've mastered it you have complete control of your game and you'll enjoy it to it's fullest potential.
