MOT Divs morph to w/o Brigades

Just after taking Mogadishu with the 11th consisting of 1 each of MOT, MOT-A and MOT-E I launch an atk into Dagabur. However, the ITAs 2x INF 2x MIL decide to come out a fight like men!

However, in the combat window my MOTs are now just standard MOTs. That is the icons and accompanying tooltip text for each unit is standard MOT.

Am I going insane?

Do you want to take a look? I can dig out a save game or try to reproduce as I hadnt seen it until this event.

Update....

This is happening in all combats where div w/ brigades are involved. Is this just a icons bug? or WAD?

Checking that screenshot now... Was at school today. Are you sure the brigades are effective lost, so their extra stats are not taken into account in the battle? Or do you suspect an icons bug?

Ive taken another look with 2 scenarios.

1) 1 MOT, 1 MOT-E, 1 MOT-A
The engineer is attacking at 105% the other two at 75%

2) Exact same brigades except with MTN.
The stats are lower but keep the same ratio. That is the -E unit seems to have about 50% more attack effciency than the other two brigade types!

In both scenarions all three units had the same org and STR values and it was clear weather.

Also I only managed to check this in scenario 1), the atk effciencies went up and down to the same percent value for all three units throughout the battle!!

Im not complete sure though. I still think that the atk values. Maybe this needs to be opened up to the rest of the community.

Does anyone know if the battle mechanism described in the manual is accurate as in 1.03b?
