Jakub King of Poland.
For many years he wasn't able to "produce" any child of his own while his three brothers had quite big families. Once when he was far from his court in Sieradz conquering some pagans in north Russia the message poped out that he and his wife are blessed by God and they will have a child. Rejoice ! :)
At first he was so happy - [at least my own descendant ! i will have a baby !] - than the reflection had came. [Wait a minute ! I'm here in Russia for last half a year and my wife is in Sieradz fev thousands miles away from here ?!? How can we have a baby right now ???!!!] Since that moment he wasn't the same stable minded man. Within a month he got stressed, depressed and finnaly two months later when he saw in mirrorr that his squire who cared about kings armor accidently atached horned helemet to his best ceremonial set of fullplate, poor Jakub comited a suicide. :(
Poor queen died giving a birth to the dead child.
It was a sad and tragic story about love, passion, jelausy and betrayal.

(Ok, ok the story is a bit stretched. Jakub in fakt has died on the battlefield after geting depresion, but you must admit that this story sound better with mor tragic ending ;) )

Well all began well for my charater the duke of brittany. He married the eldest daughter (great stats) of the king of arragon, who domain was crushed shortly thereafter (by the moors), which forced his family to move to my court. Not a bad start. His wife gives birth to eight children 5 sons. The first three son all are qiuckly married to suitable wenches. And none of them are able to produce any children. So the forth son who is a hairlip hunchback and is married to some serving girl from my own court is the next in line. With all his problems and crappy stats he still has the verility of a rabbit. He produces something like ten children with the chamber maid. The sucessson passed from his father to his oldest brother, then next oldest, then next oldest, it passes to his son, who somehow manages to have good stats. And the cycle begins again. The hunchbacks son is unable to produce a single child, so the crown eventually passes to the third son of the hunchback who again is verile, but is a clubfooted moron.

Still, its been a long and sad life for the man, and I can't help but hope that he dies soon and leaves the Earldom to his grandson Edwin(the ONLY surviving male grandchild). O! Discordia!

What would happen if poor Edwin dies? Who would inherit then?
