Most Skilled Youtuber?

Bridger and Marco Antonio are supposed to be a pretty big deal, particularly in the multiplayer circles I think. Neither upload much, and in fact I don't think either have touched the game in awhile.
Alex Berg is supposed to be another skilled MP player, and I watch him off and on. Like a lot of HoI4 Youtubers now, he has a Kaiserreich game going at the moment.
theDa9L has a channel dedicated to HoI4 basically, and is supposed to be up there.
Benjamin Magnus and his compatriots like Bundeswehr Bob are pretty decent as well. Neither are playing HoI4 right this second though, but have done some recent MP games.

My favorite is A Gamer_1745 - he is also active on this forum, but I'm not sure he is the "best" player. I prefer HOI3 videos though, seldom watch HOI4 ones. I have seen quite a few others too, some bigger and some not. But the "best" player might be ones that use much "gamey" tactics and exploits, and might not care too much about real-life-history, and so those youtubers aren't for me anyhow. I wan't realism and history, not "win at any" cost.
I have also found Quill18's videos entertaining, but not HOI ones.

It is good to also add what languages do you speak, because there may be really good youtubers/skilled ones that crete content in non-english language.
When it comes to pure game skill I would say Marco Antonio. If you look for other skills like entertainment, explanations and so on, look up the other Youtubers mentioned in this thread and choose whom you like most.
For MP, i will suggest this guy on You tube : Hesko
I personnaly learn a lot or stuffs with him ( division composition, naval warfare...)

This guy seems to be quite good at the game (luxembourg and tannu tuva world conquests) but his pace of play is slower than a snail. He plays at speed 2 or 3 most of the time, and generally for more than half of his videos the game is paused as he fiddles about hovering over icons for seemingly no reason. I watched a couple videos but that's about all I could stand, as the game was inching along at a glacial pace.
Isorrowproductions is skilled at making me laugh and satire trolling.
Thanks for the compliment and referral but currently I only play SP since that is what I enjoy the most in PDS games.

I wonder when was the last time you watched one of my videos and for how long; I mean I do provide mechanical and strategic explanations for what I am doing like (for example) why I use division composition "A" or "B" (and ofc elaborate quite extensively) and why I am attacking country "C" or "D". With that said I don´t explain the mechanics *all* the time or else I would sound like a broken record. Anyway if you have any suggestions on how I can improve my commentary I would love to hear them. Thanks for both the feedback and compliment.
Yeah no reason at all; obviously the guy did not know what "he" was doing if "he" only managed to conquer the world as Luxembourg twice (a week or so) after the game was released (shortly followed by another WC as Tannu Tuva). Clearly too slow as those objectives can be easily achieved at speed 5 without even pausing. Seriously if what you want is mindless APMs and speed 5 you went to the wrong place.

Well Marco Antonio definatly is one of the big ones, been watching all his HOI3 Stuff and loved it. He's mostly focused on the game and tactics, less "twtichchat" aso. which I enjoy, however he hasnt uploaded anything HOI4 related for the last half a year or so, so the knowledge you gain might not be 100% useful now, as TFW and 1.3.3 changed the game quite a bit.
Mr. Floppyworry (? not entirely sure how thats written...) also comes to mind with stuff like an Ethiopia World Conquest. However, he tries to be more... "entertaining"?... with a Facecam and Wigs and Chatinteraction and stuff so kind of depends on what youre looking for....
But honestly, just watch one Video of all the "big" ones and decide for yourself whose commentary you enjoy, as everyone likes something else. A lot of people love Pewdipie and I cant listen to that for 5 minutes before cutting my wrist....

Unfortunately his videos are almost exclusively SP, which isn't very interesting to me, especially in this game. I mostly watch his videos to see if there are any mechanics or tricks I've missed.
When it comes to HoI4, there's only about 50-100 players that really know how to play this game in MP. I don't know any of them to stream or upload their gameplay.
Once I saw some footage from a TS MP game on YT and the players seemed to be competent, but I've no idea what the guy's name was. Let YouTube's search bar be your friend.

You should reread my post, I never said he wasn't good. I said he was good and quite skilled, and mentioned his WC with what should be impossible countries to play as. But sitting there with the game paused for more than half of a 30-60 minute video is terrible... and when it's paused he's not actually doing anything much of the time, just bouncing between icons without actually clicking on anything. Likely he's thinking about what to do next, but it's still something that should be edited out because it serves zero purpose to anyone watching. If you're not talking, you're not clicking on anything, and you're just moving the mouse around the screen for nothing... why are we watching that again? If he's planning what to do next, then explain it and do it. Don't sit there paused in silence doing nothing. Occasionally that might happen, but it's not hard to cut a chunk of video where nothing is going on to make it less tedious to get through.

Ah, well maybe he won't take my criticism of his videos too personally and might spend a few minutes editing the videos before he posts them. He's a great player, but in terms of watchability his videos could use some help... and it's not something that would really be all that time consuming to fix. If you have to afk to use the bathroom, we don't need that in the video. Pause the recording, or if it's from twitch edit that crap out. Time is important to everyone, I'd rather watch someone 95% as good as him but that spent the extra couple of minutes on making the final upload more polished than having to scroll through the videos to get to where he's actually doing things.Protip - person you're quoting and talking too is actually Marco Antonio
