No statement needed. A picture is worth a thousand words. I might set that to the background on my phone for the next month or two...

Oh, I'm aware of that.
Thank you Hav.
I shall now allow myself one moment of optimism and anticipation.
GIVE MARAUDER NOW.
Ahem. We now return you to your regularly scheduled Killjoy.
Well, Christmas in July is just around the corner.
AND what better way for HBS to celebrate Independence Day (stateside) by setting the unseen free![]()
I think we have PGI to thank for a lot of this so a Canadian flag and leaf would be more fitting. They need to come with a big fat American flag skin, or a bald eagle decal, or both.
Sunday is Canada Day. Feel free to join in the celebrations.I think we have PGI to thank for a lot of this so a Canadian flag and leaf would be more fitting.

I'm choosing not to read anything into the fact that that's probably supposed to be Grayson Carlyle's Marauder in that photo
Well, if they released in July, they could totally give us both, cuz why not. Canadian developers, US Independence day holiday.
Or....And bear with me here...If they release in July, July 1st is our National Holiday celebration the birth of Canada as a Nation, as well as your US Independence Day![]()
Killjoy.Haha.
Please don't do that. It's contagious.
The original expression was "The proof of the pudding is in the eating," which is much more sensible than our modern shortening of it.Personally, I don't expect HBS to release another official statement besides the one they already did when HG dropped the suit against them - for HBS, that was the end of the case.
Whether or not the end to the full case means we'll see the "classic" 'Mechs in BATTLETECH, well - the proof will be in the pudding, as they say.
I stated this the other day. Then CGL posts that image in their statement? That is what I call verification and validation. As previously noted, "A picture says a thousand words."I just want to point out the obvious outcome of what happened. It is in Russ Bullock's answer:
"Piranha Games will continue to use the "classic" BattleTech designs..."
While it states nothing specific it states the obvious. What are the classic BattleTech designs? You know the answer.
Killjoy.

We all need to be patient until HBS makes a statement or releases the unseen. We don't know the terms of their settlement, which came before the others and was potentially constrained by the fact that Jordan previously settled with HG. I hope that we'll see them all soon, but we must be patient.
On a side note, I just had a mental image of how the unseen should be announced by HBS:
Mitch doing a voiceover: "Unleash the unseen!" Then the doors of a mechbay open and the original starter lance strides out to some epic music.
