And as others said, it's highly unlikely we'll see the Marauder and the Warhammer before the HG vs PGI issue doesn't get sorted in PGI's favour.

Huh. I saw people still being sad over the Unseen not being in and thought it hadn't been posted yet. Welp. Gif still relevant.your a couple of pages late - still good news
Well, this one becomes subjective. [Mod Edit: Lets still please avoid such statements] which would be the point of a redesign rather than inventing a new mech [Mod Edit: Lets still please avoid such statements] That doesn't mean we will know the outcome of that lawsuit, but even with HBS being dismissed with prejudice, the costs and attorney fees were not covered. [Mod edit: Lets not speculate]...But what's to stop them from including them with different, original designs? It was the visual designs themselves that were the point of contention, not the name 'Marauder' or anything else about it. Frankly, we shouldn't want the unseen to become reseen, since they were actually stolen from Macross, but there shouldn't be any legal problem with just coming up with new designs for those mechs.
With the case HG vs PGI still ongoing the Unseen are sadly still not in.Huh. I saw people still being sad over the Unseen not being in and thought it hadn't been posted yet. Welp. Gif still relevant.
Hang on. Since HBS won, can't they just add the [Mod Edit: Lets still please avoid such statements] unseen? HG can't sue HBS again over them using the Unseen, so they should be clear, right? Or is it something they're doing to help PGI's case? With the case HG vs PGI still ongoing the Unseen are sadly still not in.
Let's hope PGI will win and idealy will win soon, but winning would be the main priority.
At least Atlas, Locust & the Shadowhawk are safe!
HBS isn't using the [Mod Edit: Lets still please avoid such statements] unseen. They are using the Atlas, Locust and Shadow Hawk. [Mod Edit: Lets still please avoid such statements]Hang on. HG wasn't trying to sue HBS over the unseen as the unseen aren't currently in the game. It was rather that HG claimed the Atlas, Locust, and Shadow Hawk "looked to similar" to some Macross entities.Hang on. Since HBS won, can't they just add the [Mod Edit:] unseen? http://www.sarna.net/news/harmony-gold-is-at-it-again/The new suit names PGI as the primary defendants, saying the current models used for the Rifleman, Archer, Warhammer, Marauder and Phoenix Hawk are similar enough to the original Robotech images that they infringe the copyright. It also names HBS as another defendant saying that their use of the Atlas, Locust, and Shadowhawk are too similar to their property to be used in the upcoming BattleTech game.
No HG never alleged HBS used the unseen we have been waiting for. Their little part of this case is now over, but if they use the unseen before the outcome of the full PGI case they are open game for a new copyright infringement charge.

The unseen are still tied up in the main suit against PGI. We have to wait until that's finally over with to determine what their status will end up being.
Yup. HBS won't release the Marauder and Warhammer (or other Unseen 'Mechs) for BATTLETECH unless PGI wins the suit against HG.HG wasn't trying to sue HBS over the unseen as the unseen aren't currently in the game. Most people don't believe it, but a lot of court documents have little winks like that thrown in. Writing court docs and decisions can be boring and a lot of lawyers and judges have pretty biting senses of humor. When they get a chance to throw a curve they usually take it. One of my favorites is from a San Antonio case about a strip club violating a law covering, well covering: "Should the parties choose to string this case out to trial on the merits, the Court encourages reasonable discovery intercourse as they navigate the peaks and valleys of litigation, perhaps to reach a happy ending.” If you want to see what happens when a judge-frustrated novelist gets to write an opinion, Pennsylvania v Dunlap (https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/08pdf/07-1486.pdf)(collectively, the "Hairbrained Defendants") made me genuinely laugh out loud.
