Most Paradox games run very slowly on my PC

Hello. I am limited to mostly playing Victoria Revolutions and to some extent EU3 due to my processor. The EU3 tutorials at speed 5 go extremely fast but my max speed on the actual game are about speed 4 or 3 compared to that. I also own Victoria 2, which I like very much, and Europa Universalis 4. Crusader Kings 2 is somewhat better.

Your CPU is really slow, and it's a defining factor for most PDS games. Also I bet that your HDD is a slow 5400 rpm model which also affects your games' performance.
Unfortunately, the only thing you can do to improve performance is to buy an Intel CPU laptop or a desktop with a 100$-150$ CPU to run PDS titles with max comfort.

Tutorial mode turns off the AI which is the most CPU intensive part of the game, hence the differences there.
