I was thinking about the way claims work for multiple children in cases of succession, and I think a new type of claim should be implemented. Where the first born has a special "first born" claim that trumps a standard strong one. The reason I think this would be beneficial, is so the first in line that may later be passed over in succession can have a good chance at getting the throne again. I think this could be useful to the AI as well as the player to make for interesting succession crisis wars. Thoughts?

Being the first born only matters for Primogeniture and Seniority, doesn't make any sense of Elective or Gavelkind.

I wish we had ultimogeniture. That would be awesome; very fun and unstable for Western realms and a pretty accurate way to represent the Mongol khanates.
