Most historical rewriting game/mods?

I've been playing paradox games for what seems to be atleast a decade now( HOI's Vicky's, EU's), the biggest draw to me is has been being able to rewrite history and pretty much cause chaos to world history, For example I loved HOI 2's All the Russia's mod, that was rather brilliant in my opinion, all the events and changes was rather fun and was mostly based in actual historical possibilities.

So I'm basically looking for games/mods with alot of events I suppose, so in your guys and gals opinion which game or which mods offers drastic changes for both player and AI countries threw events and not just combat?

Also please list some of your favorite mods.

Kaiserreich, which is for all of the HOI2 based games, is an awesome alt-history mod. There is another good one in progress for V2, Divergences. Both can be found on the forums in their respective subforums.

Do you mean 'events' as in choice events, or rather the history files/bookmarks/scenarios? If you mean the latter, look into Miscmods for EU3, it comes with three pretty interesting scenarios. One is about Europe being ravaged by the plague so that it is hardly inhabited anymore, so it is all uncolonized. Another is about the muslims being forced out of the levant, but because of this Christianity never dealt with heresy back home. The third one is where some of the lucky historical unions (Austria/Habsburg + Tyrol + Styria, for example) never happened, and Europe is broken up.
