Are there any changes planned for Morrowind in the near future/is anyone working on it atm?

If not, I might have a go at putting together a little sub-mod to rejig things to add a bit more detail and immersion. Things I'm thinking of adding/changing include:
  • separate subcultures for the great houses, so they can have appropriate unique retinues and culture buildings
  • giving Telvanni the ability to hold temples and Hlaalu and Dres the ability to hold cities (could try removing their ability to hold castles for balance, assuming that won't break anything)
  • if the above can't be done via cultures (I don't remember), considering turning Hlaalu into a merchant republic and giving Telvanni a special 'magocracy' government (probably other cultures might be able to use it too)
  • probably rename the empire title to 'Resdayn'
  • probably remove the 'Morrowind' kingdom title (not convinced it makes sense either lore-wise or mechanically) and make the great house 'kingdom' titles de jure
  • rejig the educations of starting lords so the Telvanni are actually mages (and maybe check if Indoril and Redoran look sensible but I'm less bothered about them)
  • probably other things that I've forgotten or will occur to me as I play more
What I'd really like to do is find a way of making it the Telvanni AI actually educate their children as mages, but I'm a total modding n00b so I have no idea how to do that and suspect it would require some serious work way outside of my meagre capabilities.

Would be cool to add more flavoury immersiony details and events and stuff but I probably have neither the imagination nor the energy for that, but might have a go if something jumps out at me.

Might have a look at the religions as well, but not sure anything obviously needs changing yet.

The first dev diary for 0.1.7 talks about Morrowind and it's no longer a Kingdom
https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...-1-7-dev-diary-1-historical-revisions.933739/
A Kingdom of Morrowind was only really made by the Imperials I think since they were the ones to start off the monarchy there but before that time it wouldn't work.
I'm playing the SVN version where Morrowind's already split into smaller components. I actually meant getting rid of the whole de jure title of k_morrowind, and instead making the great houses de jure rulers of their own territory and letting you go straight from great house to e_morrowind without requiring the intermediary kingdom

That explains it but I also agree but however keep the "Kingdom" but have a culture requirement to create it since the "Kingdom of Morrowind" is after all a foreign title.
