Morocco gets my provinces out of nowhere.

So playing the demo as Portugal, I tried getting some Moroccan lands using a mission, after the peace deal I got Casablanca and freed Fez, but a couple of years later I get a message saying I have units in foreign territory, and to my surprise all the lands I held in Africa (Casablanca, Ceuta and Tangier) are now part of Morocco, no explanation given, nada, not even in the log. What's up with that?

My first guess was nationalist rebels, but that wouldn't create the "troops in enemy territory" message...

the same happened to me, i assumed that france demanded england to cede these cores to morocco, cause i noticed that i lost them after the end of the war

That makes a lot of sense, since we were at war with France and lost, still a message or something would be nice.

Ah, that would explain it. Countries can do that now even when the receiving nation is not an ally or in war. At least I think so...

Yea France forced castille to make me do that too. There is a box you can check in the peace tab that will give the war leader the ability to give away your provinces or not. I'm not 100% on how it works except when unchecked they can't give provinces away.
