As the title says... I want a trade value robot and a admin cap robot trait. Because why not?

I don't see why I can't manufacture some sort of clerk droids to fulfil my Megacorp clerk needs. Besides, isn't an administrative/clerk droid a well-established sci fi trope as well, albeit dystopian. But I don't see why a limited or full AI robot can't monitor the stock market and adjust stuff... or why an AI couldn't be specialized to keep track and respond to various requisition, maintenance demands and request from various administrative sub-sectors... you get the idea.

If you must, lock it behind civics, I'm ok with it :) Say, a Megacorp has developed AI to handle the drudgery of trade transactions (clerk droid trait, trade value only).

Admin droid... byzantine bureaucracy? Or perhaps a tradition focusing on administration or AI, or both. Ideas welcome.

Thank you all for reading.

Sounds reasonable. I'd like to add that ascended robot empires have mostly robotic traders and clerks. One would think that they would be even better at their job after becoming robots than before.

I guess this part is covered by robots being inherently more capable and having some sort of vague + modifier on resource production, whatever the resource might be in any given job slot.

To be honest, I'd like them to fully rework robot customization and specialization, and that we can have a new UI element when making robot templates. In which we can specialize templates much more comprehensively, and define the allowed jobs from within the template creation.

But I dream.

So, for now, just adding these 2 traits would be fine, I find their absence to be strange.

I'd definitely like to see a trade value perk for robots.

It's one of the few things that robots lose out on in terms of resources---trade value boosting trait.

Being able to positronically inhibit synthetics would be kinda neat too; kinda like nerve stapled---they'd still be able to work all specialist jobs and worker jobs, but not ruler jobs---and would have the same aspects of other synthetics without citizen rights---less housing and amenities and no consumer goods, no faction, no happiness, etc.
