I finished my Basileus Run and Jesus Christ, it was one of my most enjoyable runs EVER in over ~800 hours of EU4!
A big part of that joy where the little unique events during my re-conquest of the balkans, greece, southern italy and the near east.
They realy pushed me forward and I realy feel rewarded and it was like it realy happend right now, not just another province I took, no, this one was important and that little pup-up shows you exactly why..
Conquest of Rhodos, of Crete, a little bit more impact after restoring the pentachy and even the option to restore the old, united Roman Empire, unique event for Mekka and after triggered the triumph in anatolia, maybe not just 'the phoenix rises' but 'the phoenix has risen - and now we go beyond!'.
Conquest of the nothern african coastline - carthage event - controll of mare nostrum.. it don't need ot be +50 army tradition, but more small events would make this great experience much more enjoyable - and thats what makes this campain for me more than just another achievement run.
