Paradox, please add more portraits of generals and officers. A small number of portraits disturbs the immersion. I know that there are various modifications, but I would prefer if the authors of the game added a lot of graphics, so that something started to happen in this respect.

They do, but only in the form of DLC as it costs money for them to commission portraits. There are innumerable amount of mods that add portraits into the game, so I'd suggest looking into those for your fix.

While I agree that more variation in portraits (both in form of new historic characters and ones for generic created divisions commanders/admirals) would be nice, I feel that too few names leading to repetitions qucikly hits both immersion and keeping oversigth even more (plus that correcting it is a lower hanging fruuit for the devs, as no graphic input is needed and only a textfiles needs to expanded). I made a suggestion about it here:

(I'm aware that perhaps my constant beating of that drum has already helped to improve the situation for German/English namelists a bit - they were moderately exapanded a few patches ago- and I'm glad about that step, but other countries, like e.g. Turkey, are still plagued by this)
